Caravan or Motorhome?

We obviously prefer Caravans. Here's why:

1) They are cheaper and do not require mechanical inspections. We don't need to invest in a motor vehicle that we will only use a few weeks a year.

2) Motorhomes are generally based on commercial vehicles. This means they are not very pleasant to drive. With a caravan, we drive our own vehicle, which is more comfortable, safer, and much, much quieter because we don't have a kitchen behind us.

3) Caravans are more spacious inside because all the space is utilized for living.

4) Once at the destination, we can unhitch and have a car to explore more inaccessible places, go shopping, go out for dinner, etc.

5) More cargo: with a caravan, we not only have the storage areas of the caravan but also the boot of our own car.

6) The caravan does not become obsolete and lasts forever (at least ours do). We will never have the disappointment of the engine breaking down one day and the repair costing more than a new motorhome. Or of being excluded from an area because our motorhome no longer meets environmental requirements. We can change cars, but the Caravan remains.

Which is the best Caravan for me?

Are you looking to get started in the world of trailers? Do you only need space for two adults? Don't want to worry about a B+E license?

We recommend the Camper X XP3. For our Spanish customers, this caravan has the advantage of not requiring its own registration or ITV inspections.

Are you looking for a very compact, robust caravan adapted for advanced technical off-road conditions and that accommodates 2 to 4 adults + one child?

Both are universal, fit any pick-up truck, and do not require any modifications. Due to their removable nature, they do not require homologation and are considered as cargo.

What are the dimensions of our caravans?

Designed for maximum freedom and adventure, our caravans are ultra-compact and perfectly suited for driving on European roads. We do not sell excessively large caravans that are difficult to homologate in Europe, as seen in Australia, the USA, and Africa.  

Due to their reduced dimensions, you will have the security of being able to navigate the narrowest and most rugged paths and terrains in Europe and even the world, and also be able to store your caravan in standard-sized garages.

Do I need a BE Driving License?

The various caravan models we offer are extremely lightweight compared to traditional caravans, thanks to the extensive use of aluminium. A caravan's weight can range from 690 kg to 1150 kg. Depending on your country of residence, if combined with your car's weight, the total weight does not exceed 3,500kg, you will not need a BE driving license.

However, we always recommend obtaining a BE driving license; it's a good experience and guarantees avoiding problems with different interpretations of the law by authorities.

How are our caravans equipped?

Each caravan in its base configuration offers home-like comfort and is ready for use as soon as there is access to an electrical outlet. It includes a double bed, kitchen, all necessary bathroom components, storage space, water tank, water pump, insulation, wastewater outlet, and interior and exterior lighting. 

Built with lightweight yet luxurious materials, each space is designed to be practical, comfortable, and compact. 

There is the possibility to customize each product, increase autonomy, and add extra options such as supplementary beds, solar panels, a refrigerator, an awning, heating, air conditioning, a spare wheel, a bike rack, etc.

What is the delivery time?

Once your caravan is chosen and options selected, delivery takes between 8 and 16 weeks, depending on the model and the time of year it was ordered. You can pick it up at our warehouse in Cascais, Portugal, or we can deliver it to your home wherever you are.
