Caravan or Motorhome?

Obviously, we prefer caravans. Here's why:

1) They're cheaper and don't need mechanical overhauls. We don't need to invest in a motor vehicle that we'll only use a few weeks a year.

2) Motorhomes are generally based on commercial vehicles. In other words, they're not very pleasant to drive. With a caravan, you drive your own vehicle, which is more comfortable, safer and much less noisy because you don't have a kitchen behind you.

3) Caravans are more spacious inside because all the space is used for living.

4) Once at the destination, we can unhitch and have a car to explore more inaccessible places, go shopping, go out for dinner, etc....

5) More cargo: with a caravan, we not only have the storage areas of the caravan, but also the luggage compartment of our own car.

6) The caravan doesn't become obsolete and lasts forever (at least ours). We'll never have the displeasure of the engine breaking down one day and the repair costing more than a new motorhome. Or be excluded from an area because our motorhome no longer meets environmental requirements. We can change cars, but the camper stays.

Which Caravan is best for me?

Looking to get started in the world of trailers? Only need space for two adults? Don't want to worry about a B+E license?

We recommend the Camper X XP3. For our Spanish customers, this caravan has the advantage of not needing its own license plate or ITV inspections.

Are you looking for a very compact, sturdy caravan suitable for advanced TT conditions that can accommodate 2 to 4 adults + a child?

We recommend Decamp X1+.

Are you looking for a very compact caravan for 2 adults and a child? Robust and adapted to advanced TT conditions, but an interior kitchen is indispensable?

We recommend the Hunter NTR2X

Do you intend to go camping as a family for several days or weeks? Is an indoor bathroom and indoor kitchen absolutely essential (camping during winter / wife's ultimatum)?

Both are universal, fit into any pick-up truck and require no modification whatsoever. Due to their removable nature, they do not require homologation and are considered cargo.

What Dimensions do our caravans have?

Designed for maximum freedom and adventure, our caravans are ultra-compact and perfectly suited to driving on Europe's roads. We don't sell caravans that are excessively large and difficult to homologate in Europe, as is seen in Australia, the USA and Africa.  

Due to its small size, you'll have the security of being able to cross the narrowest and most rugged roads and terrain in Europe and even the world, as well as being able to store your caravan inside standard-sized garages.

Do I need a BE Driving License?

The various caravan models we offer are extremely light compared to the traditional caravan range due to the extensive use of aluminum. The weight of a caravan can vary from 690 kg to 1150 kg. Depending on the country you live in, if combined with the weight of your car, the total weight doesn't exceed 3,500kg, you won't need a BE license.

But we always recommend getting a BE license, it's a good experience and it's a guarantee that you won't have problems with different interpretations of the law by the authorities.

How are our caravans equipped?

Each caravan in its basic configuration offers the comfort of home and is ready to use as soon as you have access to a power socket. Double bed, kitchen, all the necessary bathroom fittings, storage space, water tank, water pump, insulation, waste water outlet and interior and exterior lighting. 

Built with lightweight yet luxurious materials, each space is designed to be practical, comfortable, and compact. 

There is the possibility of customizing each product, increasing the level of autonomy and adding extra options such as extra beds, solar panels, a fridge, an awning, heating, air conditioning, a spare wheel, a bicycle rack, etc?

What is the delivery time?

Once the caravan has been chosen and the options selected, it takes between 8 and 16 weeks to deliver the caravan, depending on the model and the time of year it was ordered. You can pick it up from our warehouse in Cascais, Portugal or we can deliver it to your home wherever you are.
